he does what's best for business

Donald Trump is trying to tell everybody that he does what’s best for business. And if he becomes the next president of the United States, Trump will do what’s best for the United States.

So it was no surprise when he told CNN’s Chris Cuomo, host on “New Day,” that he [Trump] supported former President Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky saga.

Trump said, “As a business man, I got along with everybody…It was my obligation to my company and to my family and to myself to get along with Clinton and to get along with every person that I needed to get along with.”

Trump went on to tell Cuomo that he wasn’t going to place his business at risk by placing himself in the middle of controversies, like the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Trump told Cuomo, “I needed votes for things. I got many things done. I needed votes. -So I wasn’t going to get involve in the Monica Lewinsky thing. As a business man, I would always stick up for various people whether they were friends or not because in many cases I needed them I needed their votes to get things done.”

Trump’s admission that he swallows his pride and deals with people he otherwise would not is the clearest sign that his statement of building a border wall and making Mexico pay for it and banning all Muslims from entering into the country will not happen.

Mexico is one of the U.S.’ top trading partners and ally. And Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates, which have large Muslim populations, are also the U.S.’ allies.

Thus, a President Trump will not alienate the countries he needs to do business with the U.S.
